POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented tailor to perform in-house garment alterations at our Midtown Mall location. This is a stable, full-time position in a professional luxury retail environment. The right candidate takes pride in precise craftsmanship, works efficiently under deadline, and understands the standard of quality that luxury menswear clients expect.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Perform men's suit and trouser alterations including hemming, waist and seat adjustments, tapering, and sleeve shortening
Assess garments and alterations needs accurately at intake
Complete work within established turnaround times
Maintain quality and precision consistent with luxury retail standards
Communicate clearly with management regarding workload, timelines, and any garment concerns
Keep the tailoring workspace organized and efficient
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience with men's garment alterations required
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and manage multiple garments simultaneously
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Comfortable working in a retail environment alongside customers and staff
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience specifically with men's suit and trouser fitting work
Background working in a retail, dry cleaning, or tailoring shop environment
Experience with luxury or formal menswear
