Seamstress Tailor

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tailor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion and a strong background in garment construction and alterations. As a Tailor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality tailoring services to our customers, ensuring that each garment fits perfectly and meets their expectations.

Responsibilities

Perform alterations on various types of garments, including dresses, suits, and casual wear.
Utilize sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques to execute precise alterations and repairs.
Consult with customers to understand their needs and preferences regarding fit and style.
Measure clients accurately to ensure proper fitting of garments.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are readily available.
Keep track of customer orders and deadlines, delivering completed garments on time.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or questions regarding alterations or garment care.
Skills

Proficient in sewing machine operation and hand-sewing techniques.
Strong understanding of garment construction principles.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations related to garment fitting.
Previous experience in fashion retail is a plus but not required.
