Registered Massage Therapist

We are looking for a friendly, outgoing, professional individual to become part of our team. We would like an individual who is eager to build their own practice. This is an independent contract position with a 65%/35% split between the Therapist and Health First Chiropractic. Hours are Monday to Friday +-5 but can be adjusted to suit Therapist.

Responsibilities:

- Perform professional massage therapy sessions for clients
- Assess clients' needs and create personalized treatment plans
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations regarding massage therapy
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and any specific concerns or conditions
- Keep accurate records of client information and treatment notes

Experience:

- Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed massage therapist preferred but not required. (new graduates welcome)
- Proficient in various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal conditions and injuries is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and address their needs
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
