Warehouse Supervisor|Manager

Qualifications
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in warehouse supervisor/manager position in a distribution environment
Forklift certification
Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals and objectives
Strong decision making, communication and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all facets of the warehouse
This is a hands-on position working alongside team members in the warehouse to ensure training and tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner
Manage daily warehouse activities, including inventory control, packaging, space management, logistics, receiving, floor productivity, and shipping to ensure delivery expectations are met consistently
Operational Efficiency - Develop and implement efficient warehouse operations procedures to improve overall productivity
identifying areas for improvement
Shipping and Receiving – Ensure that all orders are received before cut off time that are shipped on the same day and invoiced
Inventory - Ensuring accurate record-keeping and cycle counts are conducted in a timely and accurate manner and inventory reconciliation
Hire, develop and manage performance for employees and maintain a positive employee relations environment
Ensures accurate attendance and scheduling is maintained
Training and Development - Providing training and development opportunities for warehouse staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
Warehouse Safety - Enforcing safety protocols and ensuring a safe working environment for all warehouse employees
Conducting regular monthly safety meetings and knowledge of OSHA regulations
Manage injury protocols
Maintain overall condition of facility, cleanliness and organization
Equipment Maintenance - Overseeing maintenance and repairs of warehouse equipment and other machinery to ensure operational efficiency and minimize downtime
Cost Management - Monitoring warehouse expenditures and managing the budget effectively
Perform other related duties as required
