Role description: The Fearocious Feed Warehouse Assistant would be an all-rounder with a focus on warehouse operations. Key duties include loading, picking and delivering orders to customers on predetermined routes making sure the products arrive at their destination on time and in good condition. Assisting with packing orders, inventory management and general warehouse housekeeping. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and a dedication to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Warehouse Duties

Picking and packing orders
Preparing orders for shipment and palletising
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment that complies with safety standards
Loading and unloading delivery vans and trucks
Ensure products are received, checked and put away in their appropriate bays
Organize and assist the purchasing team with inventory
Ensure products are properly labelled and stored
Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies
Driving

Delivery and collection of stock based on confirmed purchasing schedule and weekly route from Southwest Sydney – CBD.
Packing, loading and unloading delivery vans and trucks
Work with the purchasing team to ensure deliveries are correct
Daily reporting and inputting of metrics into warehouse systems
Verify orders before each delivery and maintain detailed, comprehensive delivery records with necessary signatures
Ensure orders are delivered accurately and in good condition
Cleaning and servicing van for next delivery
Customer Service

Interact professionally with customers and team members during day to day duties
Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously
Communicate any delivery issues or delays to management
Represent the company with excellence and professionalism by driving safely, exercising good judgment, and treating customers with respect
Required Skills

Strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
Previous warehouse and delivery experience in the food service industry preferred
Familiarity with the local area, including streets, highways, and buildings
Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record
Knowledge of warehouse OH &S policies and procedures
Ability to lift and carry heavy food orders and operate a vehicle for prolonged periods of time
Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal communication and conflict resolution
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: $27.00 – $32.00 per hour
