Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Staff Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing clinical tasks, and supporting patients' recovery. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Patient Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily activities.
• Assessment and Planning: Assess patients' health conditions and develop personalized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Medical Procedures: Perform clinical procedures such as wound care, IV insertion, catheterization, and other nursing tasks as required.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including care plans, progress notes, and medication logs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
• Emergency Response: Respond to medical emergencies promptly and efficiently, providing appropriate care and support.
• Infection Control: Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients and staff.
• Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest nursing practices and participate in ongoing training and development programs.

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or an associate degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Valid nursing license (RN) in the state of practice.
• Experience: Proven experience as a Staff Nurse or in a similar nursing role.
• Skills:
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing procedures and protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification in a specialty area (e.g., critical care, oncology, pediatrics).
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
