Independent Contractor Opportunity: Sr. Analyst, Logistics (Remote)

Who Are We?

We are partnering with a leading Canadian logistics company renowned for its expertise in e-commerce and fulfillment services. Our client is committed to delivering innovative last-mile logistics solutions and is recognized for efficiently managing tens of thousands of parcels daily.

We are currently seeking an experienced Sr. Analyst, Logistics to join our client's remote team as an Independent Contractor. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with a forward-thinking organization and contribute to an innovative team, all while working remotely. The role requires availability to work during EST office hours.

Responsibilities:

As an Independent Contractor, you will be responsible for:
• Leading the creation and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Analyzing daily performance data to identify operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Leveraging internal technology systems to streamline operations and support business functions.
• Applying automation techniques to optimize workflows and enhance business processes.
• Generating performance reports and collaborating with the Dispatch team to meet operational demands.
• Managing the onboarding process for new associates, ensuring smooth integration.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to support operational excellence.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling, or data engineering. A master’s degree is a plus.
• Expertise in data analysis and business intelligence tools, particularly ERP systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with intermediate skills in Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with data modeling; familiarity with SharePoint is a bonus.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with offshore teams.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and research capabilities.
• Proven experience in process optimization and driving operational efficiencies.
• Ability to quickly provide actionable insights and conduct ad-hoc analyses for business needs.
• Experience in writing and maintaining technical documentation.
• Ability to track performance against SLAs and KPIs.

Technical Setup Requirements:
• A reliable desktop or laptop with a stable internet connection.
• Ability to work remotely during US/Canada EST office hours.

Nice to Have:
• Background in IT or Computer Science.
• Familiarity with automation tools and techniques.
• Six Sigma Certification is a plus.
• Master’s degree is preferred.

Compensation:
• Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications (INR 75,000 – INR 1,00,000 per month).
• This is an Independent Contractor role focused on Business Intelligence and Transportation Analytics.
