Reservations Agent at Pan Pacific Toronto

Are you passionate about providing exceptional guest service and maximizing room revenue? Pan Pacific Toronto is seeking a dedicated and experienced Reservations Agent to join our team. With a starting salary from $45,000, this full-time position offers a dynamic and engaging work environment. Salary review after 3 months.

Applicants must have the legal right to work in Canada. This includes, but is not limited to, being a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or holding a valid work permit that allows full-time employment in Canada. Proof of eligibility will be required as part of the application process.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide superior service for all guest calls, handling reservations with professionalism and a friendly demeanor.
Explain room rate structures, available rooms, payment methods, and cancellation policies.
Enter guest reservation details into the Opera system and send written confirmations.
Promote hotel facilities and services, upselling where appropriate.
Able to work within a team and independently, flexibility in working week, can include weekends and extended hours
Coordinates with other teams internally at the hotel in delivering guests’ needs.
Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in Front Office/Reservations or a similar environment.
Post-secondary education in Hospitality Management or Tourism & Marketing is preferred.
Demonstrated experience in selling and the ability to upsell would be preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and PMS Systems, particularly Opera would be highly advantages
Knowledge of French or other languages would be useful but not essential
