Job description
We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Designer or Plumbing Engineer to join our team in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing plumbing systems, including calculations of water, gas, sanitary/sewer, and storm loads. They will also be expected to develop project specifications, perform site evaluations, attend client and project team meetings, and provide construction administration.

• Design plumbing systems including calculations of water, gas, sanitary/sewer, and storm loads.
• Develop contract drawings/designs from schematics through to construction documents.
• Develop project specifications.
• Perform site evaluations.
• Handle construction administration responsibilities including reviewing submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and change orders.
• Attend meetings with clients and project team meetings.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred but not required.
• EIT/PE license preferred but not required.
• 1-5+ years of plumbing design experience, preferably for commercial, institutional, K-12, or healthcare projects.
• Fire protection design experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Revit highly preferred.
