Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Picture Framer to join our team. The ideal candidate will experience in various framing and fitting techniques. This role requires being on your feet and using creative problem solving throughout the day. Previous picture framing experience is a must.

Responsibilities

Measure, cut, and assemble framing materials using hand tools and power tools.
Fit and ensure proper installation of artwork for framed pieces in frames
Cut and attach strainer bars as needed
Stretch Canvas
Read and interpret work orders and forms for custom framing projects.
Cut various types of glass and acrylic.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Engage in additional tasks when required.
Requirements

Proven experience in picture framing environment.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and various equipment.
Familiarity with fabrication techniques and manufacturing processes.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 38 per week
