Logistics Assistant

Responsibility:

· Responsible for the identification of prospective vendors to the finalization of the commercial contracts and terms with the relevant teams for PTL, FTL, and container loading shipments in line with organizational goals

· Planning, preparation mobilization of inventory for inbound and outbound shipments, on the basis of projections of orders and returns

· Calculation, comparison, and analysis of discrepancies in actual v/s charged freight and the subsequent corrective actions for internal and external gaps, for PTL and FTL shipments

· Assisting the management in the right pricing of goods and services, by sharing deep insights into the end-to-end cost of the logistics for various Products x Pin Codes x Shipment Mode combinations

· End-to-end tracking, monitoring & follow-up of all inbound & outbound shipments to ensure 100% safe and timely deliveries. Responsible for identifying, escalating, and closing any issues with regard to any active shipment

· Amendment, documentation & detailing of key shipping attributes such as product dimensions, product weight, package dimensions & package weight, etc

· Amendment of serviceable zones, serviceable pin codes, rates, taxes, and other charges and fees for various PTL and FTL contracts, in all internal processes and systems

· Keeping records of vendor interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints to be able to improve the overall efficiency of supply chain processes

Skills Required:

· Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint

· Demonstrated experience in using custom CRM tools

· The know-how to negotiate

· Taking ownership and accountability for producing tangible results

· The skill of flexibility

Project management skills and proven experience in working with multiple departments
