Based in Sydney's Northern Beaches, Exhibit Systems is an award-winning Exhibition and Event company offering a comprehensive range of services to exhibition, event and conference organisers and corporate clients. This includes expert project management, modular exhibition booths, custom stand design and production, electrics, furniture and audio-visual hire and large-format digital printing. With offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, we are respected within the industry for our excellence in service delivery.

The Role

Due to business expansion, we have a newly created vacancy for a full-time ICT Customer Support Officer.

Role and responsibilities

Troubleshoot local infrastructure issues
Deskside support and remote access services to all staff
Deliver end-user support (Hardware & Software) by resolving their escalation
Provide support for database management and IT improvement infrastructure
Server maintenance/backup and servicing
Software updates and compatibility – servers and desktops
Support and implement solutions related to the security of information - Anti-virus/malware protection and data security
General compatibility computer issues with staff calls
Android, apple, laptop connection sharing and connection issues
AV hire screen support and maintenance
Continued development and expansion of the Staff Portal, supporting multiple departments with automation, internal tools, and process improvements
Ongoing updates, maintenance, and improvements to our website
Qualifications and Experience

Tertiary level qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a similar field
Demonstrated strong technical competency and versatility
At least three years prior experience in a similar role
Strong academic track record and educational achievements
Relevant industry experience would be highly regarded
Windows server management (MS Windows server, SQL, MS Office, Network, Avaya, etc.)
Telephony technical knowledge
Web services knowledge
Security and Networking knowledge
Windows server management
Personal Qualities:

Excellent approach to internal IT customer support
Very Proactive with a good sense of priorities and risk assessment.
Self-Motivated
Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
Team player
Can do attitude
