HR Manager

Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire (with travel across the South West)

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Are you an experienced HR professional ready to take the lead in shaping HR strategy and driving business success? Our client is a growing group representing iconic brands is looking for a dynamic HR Manager to join our team.

In this pivotal role, you’ll work closely with the Managing Director, providing strategic HR leadership while delivering practical, hands-on support across our car/motorcycle dealerships in the South West. This is your chance to make a real impact within a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and execute the full employee lifecycle, ensuring exceptional HR service delivery.
• Provide expert advice on HR policies, employment law, and best practices.
• Oversee recruitment processes to attract and onboard top talent.
• Lead on disciplinary and grievance matters, partnering with managers to ensure fair and effective resolutions.
• Regularly review and update HR policies to ensure compliance with legislation.
• Build strong relationships across all levels, promoting a positive workplace culture.
• Develop and deliver HR strategies that improve employee engagement, retention, and performance.
• Travel across dealership sites to provide tailored support (company vehicle and business mileage provided).

• A thorough understanding of employment legislation and HR practices.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and an empathetic communication style.
• Proactive and self-motivated, able to thrive in an autonomous role.
• Flexible and adaptable to the needs of a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience) is highly desirable.
