We are a fully accredited facility with 146 beds co-located with the Royal Hobart Hospital in the heart of the city. Hobart Private Hospital provides Emergency Services, Angiography and Cardiac Services, Maternity, Medical, Surgical, Day Surgery and Endoscopy.

Enrolled Nurse
Enrolled Nurses at Healthscope perform a variety of tasks under the supervision of registered nurses. Some of the tasks that you may be responsible for, in collaboration with the Registered Nurse, include caring for a group of patients, patient admission and discharge, medication administration, wound care, pre- and post-operative care and liaising with medical staff and other health professionals. You will have the opportunity to continually develop, improve and promote best evidence-based practice.
What’s Included in the Graduate Program?
Our 12-month program, available in full-time or part-time roles (minimum 30 hours/week), is designed to help early career nurses and midwives transition into independent practice and enhance their clinical skills.
General graduate stream available – depending on Hospital preference.
One to three rotations within your graduate stream over the 12-month program
Ongoing employment contract

What we’ll need from you
Evidence of Australian working rights
Completion of a nursing or midwifery course after 1st July 2025 or expected completion before 30th June 2026
Availability for a minimum of 30 hours/week, on a rotating roster including AM, PM, night, weekends, and public holidays.
