Formwork Carpenter

Were currently hiring experienced Carpenters with Concrete experience to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in various carpentry tasks and a strong attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Scope of Work
• Building decks, forms, door and window installation, framing houses and concrete forms.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
• Operate power tools and hand tools for cutting, shaping, and smoothing wood and other materials.
• Conduct masonry work including caulking and sealing. Wrok closely with other trades and members of the carpentry team.
• Other duties as required and assigned.

Working Conditions
• Must be willing to perform a wide variety of tasks with varying physical requirements from lifting, climbing, working on ladders and being on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing to work outdoors be exposed to a variety of weather conditions.
• Must be willing to work at heights and completed repetitive motions and tasks.

Qualifications
• Prior experience as a Carpenter or similar role.
• Versatile in all types of general carpentry.
• Familiarity with concrete a variety of carpentry tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and architectural drawings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and takes pride in workmanship.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a safe working environment.

Requirements
• Prior relevant construction/carpentry experience.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License (preferred)
• Tool pouch
• Full PPE (Hard hat, Steel toe boots, Safety glasses, Gloves)

Experience
• Structural carpentry: 3 years (preferred)
• Concrete: 1 year (preferred)

Expected start date: As soon as possible.
