Required skills:
• Proficiency in Python and Python based web framework for developing APIs like FastAPI, Flask, etc.
• Experience with FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) and related standards.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Record/Electronic Medical Record systems and healthcare data models.
• Knowledge of OAuth, OpenID Connect, and security protocols.
• Knowledge of any public cloud will be an added advantage.

Preferred skills:
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for healthcare applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., FHIR, SMART on FHIR).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs with Electronic Health Records (EHR), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and other health information systems.
• Implement Clinical Decision Support (CDS) hooks to enable real-time clinical workflows.
• Optimize API performance, security, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve interoperability issues.
• Stay informed about emerging standards and best practices.
