Full-time roles will be available in the near future - this current role is casual/subcontract.
Summary:

Haymac Engineering is on the hunt for a CNC Laser operator that wants to work in a new workshop with a family-owned business.
We have recently commissioned a Bodor CNC Laser Cutter, must have laser cutting experience but extra training is provided.
We are a small but highly capable and motivated team – we believe in flexibility and want to fit the work and hours around the right people.
We are a new company with fresh mindsets and eager to grow with the right people.

Start Date: July/August but also open to a start later in the year.

About the role

Join our team as a Casual CNC Laser operator in our Fabrication Shop. Duties and responsibilities include:

Operating a Bodor CNC Laser Machine
Setup & adjustment of metalworking machines & equipment including a laser cutting machine.
Interpreting engineering drawings
Load and unload materials
Monitor operations, troubleshoot issues, and keep everything running smoothly
Conduct routine maintenance

What you will need:

Current Drivers License
A valid forklift license
Previous experience operating laser machinery
The ability to read technical drawings and specs with confidence
Shown capability to work in a team environment unsupervised
