CARPENTER CONSTRUCTION ASSISTANT

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Carpenter Helper to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will assist experienced carpenters in various tasks related to building and restoring structures. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions effectively. Duties

installation of cabinets, drywall, flooring, and other structural components.
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Help in reading blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
Participate in the restoration of existing structures, ensuring quality workmanship.
Perform heavy lifting as required during construction tasks.
Support the team in construction estimating by providing input on materials and labor needs.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements

Previous experience or knowledge in installation or general carpentry of cabinets and drywall is required.
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics is a plus.
Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
Willingness to learn from experienced carpenters and take on new challenges.
A positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Ability to lift 30 lbs while standing and walking
Ability to bend and work in bent position (as in installing flooring)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
