Ward Boy/Ward Lady

The job involves maintaining the cleanliness of the ward, its annexes, and surrounding environments. This includes up-keep and repairs of linen and ward equipment. You will be responsible for dispatching specimens and assisting patients in getting into or out of bed upon admission. Transporting patients to different departments within the hospital is also part of your duties.

Additionally, you will assist nurses in patient observation, basic nursing procedures, and collection of pathological specimens. Helping with laundry supplies, disinfecting mattresses, and dispatching dirty linen are also part of the role. Other tasks include clearing and dusting doors, windows, and furniture, as well as preparing dead bodies for transportation to the mortuary and assisting in terminal disinfections.

Overall, your role will involve ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the ward to provide a safe and comfortable environment for patients and staff members.,
