Permanent, part-time role (37.5 hours per week)
Salary band $72,035 - $75,050 - p.a pro-rata and KiwiSaver

About the role

The Ward Management Administrator helps keep the Regional Forensic Psychiatry Service on Ward 9A running smoothly by providing flexible administration support to the Charge Nurse Manager and ward staff.

The role involves:

arriving and departing patients to the ward
administrative support to the Charge Nurse Manager
facility and stores management
data entry
transcription
clerical support and filing
responding to requests for information.
Cross cover is expected to be provided to the Community Forensic team.

About you

Our ideal candidate will have:

at least two years of administrative experience
knowledge of office systems and procedures
evidence of good literacy and numeracy skills
excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (e-mail)
a typing speed above 65 words per minute
a high standard of interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with a variety of people
the ability to work well in a team and foster good interpersonal relationships and a willingness to support and assist other
a full New Zealand driver's licence.
