• Position Overview
We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Video Editor with 3–4 years of professional experience to join our in-house marketing team.
You'll be responsible for producing, editing, and managing high-quality video content for our social media channels, promotional campaigns, brand films, interviews, student stories, and event recaps.
This is a dynamic role that blends storytelling, marketing strategy, and technical expertise — ideal for someone who thrives in a creative, fast-paced academic environment.

• Key Responsibilities
Plan, edit, and produce high-quality video content for YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and the institute website.
Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to develop compelling storyboards and visual narratives.
Manage end-to-end video production — including scripting, filming support, editing, color correction, and sound design.
Adapt and repurpose long-form content (events, webinars, interviews) into short-form videos and reels optimized for digital distribution.
Work with the creative director and designers to ensure brand alignment and consistency across all media formats.
Organize and manage media assets, raw footage, and archive libraries.
Stay up to date with video trends, editing techniques, and platform algorithms to improve reach and engagement.
Handle multi-project timelines efficiently using project management tools and team workflows.

• Required Tools & Technical Expertise
You must be proficient in:
Adobe Premiere Pro – Core video editing, transitions, effects
Adobe After Effects – Motion graphics, intros, lower-thirds, and animations
Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator – Thumbnail and overlay designs
DaVinci Resolve – Color grading and correction
Final Cut Pro / CapCut (Pro version) – Social-first short-form content
Audition or equivalent audio tools – Noise reduction, mixing, balancing
Canva / Figma (basic) – Layouts for social media visuals
Trello / Asana / Notion – For project management & workflow coordination

• Qualifications & Experience
3–4 years of professional video editing experience (agency, in-house, or freelance).
Strong understanding of social media content formats, pacing, and audience engagement strategies.
Experience in educational, edtech, or institutional branding preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Animation, or related field.
Strong creative vision with the ability to translate briefs into visually engaging narratives.
Excellent time management and attention to detail.
