Media Skills
-Fundamental understanding of video recording, how to use a camera, use of frame rates, resolution, codecs, picture profiles, aperture, shutter angle proper audio recording.
Software Experience
-Fundamental understanding of video editing, project settings, video codecs, frame rates, resolution, basic color grading, audio gain staging, working with dialogue, adding animated captions, use of appropriate supporting B Roll to video subject matter, experience editing both short form and long-form video content (talking head short form and instructional or podcast long-form videos).
-Fundamental understanding of Social Media, modern trends, algorithm behavior, posting schedules, trending content, and appropriate use of different forms of content on different social platforms.
Software knowledge
-Thorough understanding of DaVinci Resolve
-Thorough understanding of CapCut
-Thorough Understanding of Photoshop
-Thorough Understanding of Lightroom
Work abilities
-We are seeking someone who is able to turn around at least 6 short form 30-+0s videos per week, as well as 1-2 longer form videos to start. We need to meet a Monday / Wednesday / Friday posting schedule, with assets ready for publication and delivered the week prior for review.
