A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Trust and Estate Litigation Paralegal
Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field
Strong knowledge of probate administration, trust administration, and depositions
Proficiency in using legal database software and platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong research and report-generating skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong knowledge of federal, state and local laws
Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software to prepare reports, memos, and legal documents
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Commitment to providing superior service to clients and willingness to go the extra mile

Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation matters
This includes managing the administration of trusts and estates, preparing and filing court documents, coordinating with clients and other parties, and conducting legal research
Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation cases from onset to post-trial
Coordinate with clients, court personnel, and other attorneys
Conduct legal research to support a legal proceeding, to formulate a defense, or to initiate legal action
Administer estates and trusts including drafting, filing and serving related probate court documents
Handle all aspects of the probate process, including the preparation and filing of all documents required to probate wills
Conduct and coordinate the orderly and timely management of assets and liabilities of trusts
Assist with depositions, interrogatories, and discovery requests and responses
Prepare for and attend trials organize evidence and witnesses, prepare exhibits, take notes and handle all logistical details
Maintain an organized and up-to-date case file and billing information
Perform administrative tasks such as filing papers, answering telephone calls, and maintaining and organizing files

The candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation matters.
