Job Title: Automation Engineer – PLC Programming

Location: Odhav, Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Department: Automation & Engineering
Experience:- 0 To 3 Years

Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary:

15,000 to 30,000(As per industry standards and experience)

Working Days:

Monday to Saturday

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer (PLC Programming) to develop, program,

and commission industrial automation systems. The candidate will work on PLC, HMI, and

VFD-based projects, ensuring smooth operation, quality, and timely delivery of automation

solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

 PLC programming, testing, and debugging for industrial automation projects

 Develop control logic, interlocks, and automation sequences as per project requirements

 HMI development and integration with PLC systems

 VFD configuration, parameter setting, and drive commissioning

 Site commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of automation systems

 Coordinate with panel designers, project engineers, and field teams

 Modify and optimize PLC programs based on customer feedback

 Prepare technical documentation, IO lists, and commissioning reports

 Ensure safety standards and best automation practices are followed

Required Qualifications & Skills:

 Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Automation

Engineering

 1-3 years of experience in PLC programming and industrial automation

 Hands-on experience with Siemens PLCs (S7-1200 / S7-1500 / S7-300 / S7-400)

 Knowledge of TIA Portal

 Experience with HMI configuration (Siemens HMI preferred)

 Understanding of industrial control panels and field instrumentation

 Ability to read electrical drawings and P&ID diagrams

Preferred Skills:

 Experience with Schneider / Allen Bradley PLCs

 Knowledge of SCADA systems (WinCC / other SCADA)

 Experience in VFDs (Siemens, Schneider, ABB, Danfoss, etc.)

 Field commissioning experience

Soft Skills:

 Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

 Good communication and coordination abilities

 Willingness to travel to customer sites

 Ability to work under project deadlines

Minimum Qualification:

Full-time regular B.E. / B.Tech degree in the related field

Minimum Experience:

At least 5 years of professional experience in technical project execution, data management, or GIS-related domains, including at least 2 years of experience working with Government or State Departments.

Brief Responsibilities & Skills Required:
• Demonstrates the application of agile development processes in a leadership capacity to manage technical workflows effectively.
• Possesses expertise in data analysis tools, especially Excel, for managing datasets and generating analytical reports.
• Holds certification in GIS or related fields.
• Skilled in requirement analysis, design, testing, delivery, and support, ensuring end-to-end technical project execution.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to address technical challenges and enhance system performance.
