Responsibilities
The System Engineer III will provide core support services for Engineering Labs at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) in Huntsville, Alabama
The support will include developing strategies for achieving security compliance by replacing EOL operating systems, mitigating vulnerabilities, log collection/analysis and achieving hardening standards for isolated and collocated systems
The candidate will also be required to re-engineer and standardize the backup/restore and Operating System roadmap for lab systems
Senior-level systems engineering support
Applies comprehensive knowledge of concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments
Provides analysis related to the design, development, and integration of cloud, hardware, software, man-machine interfaces, and all system level requirements to provide an integrated IT solution
Develops integrated system test requirement, strategies, devices, and systems
Directs overall system level testing

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION/DUTIES:
