Qualifications
Five years' painting experience or equivalent combination of experience and education
Proficiency in surface preparation and application of paints, wallpapers, and other products
Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
Experience in mixing and matching colors and textures
Willingness to work non-standard hours and pass mandatory drug tests and background checks
Responsibilities
The Surface Painter is responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint, varnish, stain, wallpaper and coatings to enhance and protect interior and exterior surfaces of buildings, equipment, and rides
This role involves reading blueprints, ordering supplies, and completing jobs according to specifications
Surface Painters also operate and maintain spray machines, maintain records of materials used, and adhere to safety guidelines
Additionally, this role may require working nights, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs
