Substation Maintenance Manager

Job Objective:
• O&M of all the equipment of HVAC terminal station.
• To ensure the healthiness of the system and equipment availability by regular maintenance

and monitoring
• To achieve high reliability and availability (lines and equipment) by effective maintenance of

the Substation equipment

Roles and Responsibilities:
• 100 % equipment preventive maintenance activities
• Work allocation to the down the line for daily, monthly and annual maintenance activities
• AC yard equipment CB, Isolator, Transformer and auxiliary system
• regular preventive maintenance
• Maintaining the equipment availability as per set target
• Ensure the safety in maintenance of equipment
• Periodic and Breakdown maintenance of Yard equipment as well as Auxiliary System to target zero forced outages.
• Optimization of Annual shutdown time with respect to available shutdown time.
• Testing and maintaining records of Protection System for station.
• To maintain upper and lower limits of budget and plan the maintenance activities accordingly.
• Hazard identification and incident reporting and compliance of HSE norms as per company Policy.
• Optimize the available inventory and procure new inventories as per need
• Documentation of IMS standards as applicable for the substation
• Ensure quality assurance, safety and environment standards by way of well-defined review mechanism.

Must Have Experience:
• Must have 3- 10 years of experience in Operation and Maintenance of substation.
• Experience in 400 KV - 765 KV Substation
• Familiar with all type of testing's
• Hands on experience in SCADA.

Education Qualification:
• B. Tech Electrical Compulsory (Regular Mode)
