Full job description
We have an opportunity for a reliable team player with excellent communication skills and a focus on getting the job done to join our storeroom/inwards goods team as a Storeroom Assistant.

Purpose of the role:

Assist with the receipting, unloading trucks, checking, and storage of all stock coming into store through the backdoor, and to assist with processing credits.

About the role and responsibilities:


Unloading trucks
Marking off all products that come through the back door ensuring the quantities received match the pick slips/invoices.
Processing all necessary paperwork on timely manner
Follow Health and Safety, Food Safety Policy and compliance procedures in the store
Assist with processing of credits/or short deliveries
Keep storeroom area clean and tidy as you go
About you, the right candidate for this role must:
Has an understanding of SAP or similar software
Have a valid Forklift Licence
Good work ethics and good team player
Reliable, well organised, and good communication skills
Physically fit and able to fulfil the requirements of this role
Have storeroom experience within the supermarket industry or similar
Have the right to work in New Zealand
Available to work one day in the weekend.
Can be flexible in their working hours
