Job description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Shopify Website Development Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience customizing Shopify store layouts, working with CSS to enhance the visual design, and ensuring seamless functionality of the site. If you also have basic knowledge of SEO, that would be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

- Customize and optimize Shopify store layouts, themes, and templates using CSS and liquid code to meet business requirements and improve user experience.

- Modify and update website design elements, including headers, footers, and product pages, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing design.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website performance, design inconsistencies, and functionality bugs.

- Collaborate with designers and developers to implement new features or make updates to the Shopify store.

- Ensure responsive design for mobile and tablet devices for all site layouts.

- Implement best practices for user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design.

- Provide support for the ongoing maintenance and improvement of Shopify sites.

- Assist in implementing basic on-page SEO practices such as optimizing meta tags, title tags, alt text, and URLs.

- Perform website speed optimizations and recommend solutions for improving performance.

- Stay updated with the latest Shopify features, industry trends, and web development technologies.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with JavaScript or jQuery.

- Knowledge of advanced SEO techniques.

- Experience with Shopify Apps and third-party integrations.

- Basic understanding of Google Analytics and other SEO tools.

- Familiarity with responsive design principles and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.

- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and tools.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
