Server and Bartender (New West Edmonton Mall)

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional hospitality and creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. This role requires excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and restocking supplies as needed
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process orders and handle payments
Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations regarding alcohol service
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to guests at the bar
Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to maintain a safe environment for both staff and customers
Requirements

Proven experience as a Bartender in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred
Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, and beverage pairings
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment
Exceptional hospitality skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Familiarity with food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 70 – 88 per week
