About the Role

Join our innovative team as a Senior Robotics Software Engineer and play a crucial role in transforming our advanced robotics stack into a reliable and user-friendly product. This is a deeply technical and hands-on position where you'll write production code, integrate subsystems, and engage directly with robots in both simulated and real-world environments.

As part of a focused team, you will be responsible for developing application-level software that seamlessly connects control, navigation, perception, learning, and platform systems. Your expertise will ensure these components work together coherently, providing an exceptional user experience.

This role requires close collaboration with engineers from various domains. You will contribute to architectural decisions, build prototypes, and iterate quickly. What You Will Do
• Develop and maintain application-level software for humanoid robots.
• Integrate software components from controls, navigation, computer vision, reinforcement learning, and platform teams.
• Contribute to the structure and evolution of the application architecture and its interfaces.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define priorities and deliver robust features.
• Debug complex robotic systems in both simulated and physical environments.
• Support on-site validation efforts as needed and contribute to field testing.

What We Are Looking For
• At least five years of experience in robotics or a closely related field.
• High proficiency in C++ with experience delivering production-grade software.
• Solid understanding of robotic subsystems, including control, perception, navigation, and learning.
• Comfortable with reading, understanding, and integrating code across multiple engineering domains.
• Hands-on experience debugging systems on hardware and a passion for problem-solving.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively across disciplines.

Nice to Have
• Experience deploying robots in field or customer-facing environments.
• Familiarity with telemetry, logging systems, and diagnostic tooling.
• Experience with operator user experiences or teleoperation systems.
• Knowledge of ROS or ROS2 or equivalent middleware platforms.
