• Automation and Scripting: Develop automation scripts and tools using Oracle scripting languages (e.g., PL/SQL, Shell scripting) to streamline routine Oracle database tasks, such as backups, monitoring, and performance tuning, to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create comprehensive documentation, including Oracle database system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides, and actively share knowledge with team members to enhance the overall expertise of the team.
• Stay Updated with Oracle Technologies: Keep abreast of the latest advancements and best practices in Oracle database technologies, emerging trends, and tools relevant to Oracle production DBA responsibilities, and recommend their adoption when appropriate.

All About You:

• Strong understanding of Oracle database security concepts, including Oracle Advanced Security, Oracle Database Vault, and Oracle Label Security.
• Experience with Oracle backup and recovery strategies, Oracle High Availability (HA) solutions, and Oracle database replication techniques.
• Knowledge of Oracle database design principles, indexing strategies, and data partitioning techniques for scalability and performance.
• Proficient in Oracle scripting languages (e.g., PL/SQL, Shell scripting) and Oracle automation tools for database administration tasks.
• Familiarity with Oracle Exadata, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), or Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
