Global mining conglomerate seeking Senior Power Platform Developer
Your new company
A global mining conglomerate with operations throughout the world are seeking a Senior Power Platform Developer to work on an enterprise level de-carbonisation program in either Perth or Brisbane's CBD!
Your new role
With their global headquarters located in Australia, this international conglomerate conducts mining, energy and resource extraction services across multiple continents and countries. Domestically, with offices in nearly every major Australian capital, over the past few years they have been building their presence throughout the state of Queensland by replicating their successful global business model locally. As part of this they have grown to be Australia's largest company and the worlds biggest mining company (both in terms of revenue and size).
Due in part to their ever-growing success, they are seeking to hire a Senior Power Platform Developer to work from their corporate office in either Perth or Brisbane's CBD. Working as part of their multi-disciplinary Climate and Environmental Team, this role will see you work on a large scale de-carbonisation project aimed at lowering emissions created whilst mining.
The duties of this role include (but are not limited to):
• Estimate, Analyse, design, build and unit test Microsoft Power Platform application components (e.g. Microsoft Power App, Dataverse, Power Automate, etc)
• Design and build Model driven user interfaces in alignment with UI design
• Design and build custom Canvas user interfaces in alignment with UI design
• Backfill project Technical Lead as required and lead/mentor other developers
Aside from extensive technical experience, you will need strong soft skills to be able to communicate and work with a variety of stakeholders across the conglomerate.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need experience/knowledge across as much of the following:
• Microsoft's Power Platform eco system
• Model Driven and Canvas Apps (essential)
• Microsoft Dataverse
• Microsoft Certifications (advantageous)
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Working with individuals across all levels of an organisation
• Excellent clear written and verbal communication soft skills
NOTE:
• Full Australian working rights are needed
• Applicants need to be currently residing in ANZ (those outside will not be considered for this position)
What you'll get in return
You will be offered an initial contract until 30th June 2026 in Perth or Brisbane with a leading and global mining organisation paying up to $+50 per day + super.
