5+ years of experience with Okta, including configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting
Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation and management
Strong understanding of identity and access management principles and practices
Experience integrating Okta with various applications and services (e.g., SSO, MFA, provisioning)
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
The Senior Okta Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Okta identity and access management solutions
This will involves integrating Okta with various applications and services, leveraging Terraform for infrastructure as code, and ensuring secure and scalable solutions for our organization
Design and implement Okta identity and access management solutions, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and lifecycle management
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform to automate the deployment and management of Okta configurations and integrations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Okta with internal and external applications and services
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Okta integrations, authentication, and authorization
Develop and enforce best practices for identity and access management
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to identity management and cloud infrastructure

We are currently seeking a Senior Okta Engineer with extensive experience in Terraform to lead our identity and access management initiatives in the Dallas, TX area. This is a hybrid / remote position with the possible opportunity to convert from contractor to fulltime.
Scope of Work

Preferred Skills:
• Okta Certified Professional or similar certification.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with additional IAM tools and technologies.
