Qualifications
The ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational skills, is detail-oriented, and has a strong understanding of the design process from pre-construction to installation
Minimum 3 years of experience as an interior designer in residential design, including new construction projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Google Workspace, and Studio Designer
Excellent organizational skills and ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Responsibilities
Design Collaboration: Work closely with the Principal to create innovative interior designs for high-end residential projects
Drawings and Renderings: Utilize AutoCAD to create precise interior architecture and cabinetry drawings, with proficiency in 3D rendering or hand rendering a significant advantage
Sourcing and Procurement: Source furniture, fixtures, and finishes under the guidance of the Principal for residential projects
Project Administration: Manage project budgets, timelines, and schedules in collaboration with the Project Administrator
Communication and Coordination: Coordinate with general contractors, fabricators, trades, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution
Quality Control: Review and edit drawing packages and shop drawings as required, and approve invoices for payment
Site Checks: Conduct regular site checks throughout the project duration to ensure quality and timeliness
