Senior Accountant (Onsite)

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and providing insights to drive business decisions.


Key Responsibilities:


Oversee and execute month-end and year-end close processes

Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts

Assist in preparing financial statements in accordance with GAAP

Analyze financial data and identify trends, variances, and discrepancies

Support internal and external audits, providing requested documentation and explanations

Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies

Collaborate with other departments on financial matters and projects

Assist with process improvements and system enhancements

Mentor and support junior accounting staff as needed


Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)

5+ years of progressive accounting experience

Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP)

Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
