Senior Accountant

Elsdon Technology are delighted to have partnered with a leading full-service accounting management firm located in Houston. We are looking to recruit a Senior Accountant with business tax experience.

With a robust client base and excellent reputation, our client provide a broad array of services including accounting, business management and consulting, financial statements, tax planning and preparation. Their small, close-knit team values collaboration, dedication and excellence in client services.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervision: Manage and supervise two employees - one focused on tax and one on accounting.
• Tax Preparation: Prepare and review approximately 150 business tax returns and 300 individual tax returns annually.
• Accounting Services: Oversee the accounting for several quarterly and annual clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Client Interaction: Maintain regular contact with clients, prioritizing exceptional client services and timely delivery of work.

Qualifications:
• Experience: Proven experience in business tax and accounting, with a background in senior positions ideally involving the management of one or two other accountants.
• Education: CPA certification is not necessary but encouraged.
• Skills: Strong organisation skills, attention to detail, and excellent client communication abilities.
