As the 2IC, you'll play a pivotal role in assisting the Seafood Manager in steering the daily operations of our bustling seafood department. Your Role:

Assist Seafood Manager: Support the Seafood Manager in all aspects of department operations, including inventory management, staff supervision, and customer service.

Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to seafood department team members, fostering a culture of exceptional customer service and teamwork.

Talent Development: Assist in recruiting, training, and scheduling staff to ensure a skilled and efficient team.

Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering, and maintain product freshness and availability.

Customer Interaction: Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally and ensure a positive shopping experience.

Safety & Hygiene: Uphold food safety standards and maintain cleanliness in the seafood department.

Qualifications:

Experience Preferred: Previous supermarket experience is beneficial but not required.

Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Detail-Oriented: Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.

Customer Focus: Thrive in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.

Flexibility: Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
