Purpose:

Floor & Decor sales associates understand that their attentive customer service and product knowledge make a big difference in customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Both full-time and part-time employees are being sought by the company.

Essential Job Functions:
• Communicate with shoppers, ask about their assignments, endorse items, and evoke enthusiasm about acquisitions.
• Provide exceptional customer service that sets us apart from the rest.
• Our obligation is to maintain the designated areas adequately stocked, organized, and secure, meeting the customers' satisfaction and safety standards.
• Promote teamwork with management and peers to reach sales objectives.
• Complete transactions with the aid of the POS system.
• Comply with the company's policies and procedures when handling customer refunds and exchanges.
• Remain in accordance with the accepted guidelines for receiving payments through cash, checks, or credit cards.
• Create labels for pricing and promotional purposes, monitor inventory, label and present products.
• Uphold the critical standards that reflect the company's vision.
• Illustrate and confirm compliance with organizational safety measures.
• Pick up phone calls and follow the company's specific instructions.
• Pitch in and help out in other areas of the store as requested.
• Prevail in a swift-paced situation with attentiveness to detail.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
• Only people who are 18 years or older are able to partake.
• A lack of proficiency in fundamental math skills can impede an individual's ability to comprehend other subject matter as well.
• Experience in dealing with customer issues.
• Possessing the versatility to manage several tasks simultaneously and excel when the going gets tough.
• In order to meet the requirements of certain job positions, individuals may be required to obtain forklift certification through F&D.
• Certain states have laid down regulations requiring a drug test to be passed for heavy equipment certification.

Physical/Sensory Requirements:
• Tasks involving the movement of objects necessitate applying force ranging from 30 to 60 pounds occasionally or 20 to 30 pounds frequently.
• Day-to-day activities often require the use of hands and fingers to touch and manipulate objects.
• Consistent engagement in work tasks that involve using hands and arms to reach, stand, walk, balance, or climb.
