Sales Assistant

Modextil Inc. is a privately held Canadian apparel company established in 1981 specializing in menswear. We design, source, market and sell various lifestyle in-house brands globally. Our lines offer the market innovative collections backed by decades of experience. As we continue to grow, we are searching for a Sales Assistant to support our sales team and help achieve growth targets by working cross-functionally through the organization and customers.

Role Overview

The Sales Assistant will work closely with the Sales Director and team to execute planned strategies by performing general sales activities including follow up and customer service, maximizing sales and maintaining customer relationships. This is fast paced environment where entrepreneurial spirit is welcomed.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the sales team in managing client accounts and communication for a smooth day-to-day operation.
Prepare weekly sales reports by client to share with team and identify opportunities.
Develop and maintain accurate records of orders, shipping and PO’s to identify sales trends and suggest potential actions to sales team.
Track and update inventory, ATS, order placement and follow-up in the system.
Create client presentations, handle sample requests, receipts, and coordinate showroom prep for market.
Partner with internal teams (production, customer service, and logistics) to ensure timely delivery of goods, and customer related queries and tasks.
Team up with design and sales for trade show preparation.
Provide excellent customer service and support to retail partners and clients.
Contribute positively to team dynamic and manage up where necessary.
Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

1-3 years of related experience and/or training in wholesale apparel sales.
Strong organizational and communication skills, interpersonal abilities and a team player.
Superior ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Detail oriented, proactive attitude and problem-solving mindset.
Passion for fashion and sales
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), familiarity with BI and CRM/order management systems a plus.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
