Traffic Signs is a market leader in road safety and road sign products for the New Zealand market. With manufacturing plants operating in Mt Maunganui and Christchurch, the business is a national leading brand.

We are customer focused, serving a wide range of clients and operate within a deadline driven production environment.

Our installation team work on roading developments within the region. This role will work closely with the Installation Foreman and you will be involved in sign foundation excavations, concrete works, sign support and sign erection.

You do not need to have experience as we will train you in variety of tools and equipment including our mobile elevated work platform truck and Ditchwitch excavator. You will need to be physically fit and enjoy working outdoors.

This role will suit someone who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty and is physically fit.

Out of town stay away allowances and night shift allowances are paid on top of your hourly rate.

There may be other production work available if no installation works are required and this may include sign making, metal processing, stores, and general factory work.

We offer birthday leave and continuous service leave incentives.

We will be closing for the holiday period on 20 December 2026 and reopening on 6 January 2026.
