The roles, responsibilities and duties of a Security Officer can be performed in many different sectors and varying roles. This Position Description outlines the general duties in line with specific role types and acts as a guide rather than a comprehensive list of tasks.
Casual $34.42/hr (includes casual loading) + penalties

About the Role

You will be primarily responsible for providing a security presence whilst remaining alert and focused. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team. Duties include but are not limited to:

Respond professionally, courteously and promptly to all customer enquiries
Complete patrol duties
Monitor CCTV and radio communications systems
Complete reports and computer use
Skills & Experience

QLD Security Licence – Unarmed, monitoring and crowd control functions required
Certificate II in Security Operations
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
Current open drivers’ licence
Intermediate computer skills
Have unrestricted availability to work a 24/7 roster
