Recruiter / Skilled Labor Staffing Specialist - Remote Work

Summit Service Solutions, an expanding skilled trades staffing firm, seeks a dynamic Recruiter / Staffing Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top-notch skilled tradesmen. This is a full-time, REMOTE opportunity where you will work Monday through Friday from +AM to 5PM EST. Working with us, you’ll earn $20 per hour, plus an annual performance-based bonus. You will also enjoy a company benefits package that includes a 401k retirement plan with employer match, holiday pay and paid time off, as well as supplemental benefits such as life insurance, disability insurance, and limited medical cost coverage.

Your daily responsibilities as a Recruiter with Summit will include:
• Utilizing your staffing expertise to identify, engage, and recruit candidates for various positions, including electricians, plumbers, welders, carpenters, and more.
• Developing and implementing innovative recruitment strategies to source passive candidates and build a robust talent pipeline.
• Conducting thorough candidate assessments, interviews, and evaluations to ensure the best fit for both candidates and us, as well as our clients.
• Staying up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscapes to inform recruitment strategies and best practices.

To qualify, you must have at least 4 years of experience recruiting skilled tradesmen and:
• Prior staffing industry experience.
• Prior experience using Applicant Tracking Systems.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills to establish connections with candidates, industry professionals, and trade organizations.
• The ability to effectively engage and persuade candidates.
• A college degree.
