Property Accountant

Pridestaff Financial : Our thriving upstream oil & gas client in Irving, TX, is seeking a highly motivated Property Accountant to join their dynamic team!

In this role: you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of their financial processes, working closely with management to meet daily and monthly deadlines for an assigned portfolio of assets.

What You'll Do:
• Own the monthly close process for assigned oil & gas assets.
• Master revenue allocations, calculations, and ensure proper journal entries.
• Analyze and reconcile general accounts, including accruals, prepaids, production, and JIB accounting.
• Deliver accurate financial reporting through meticulous account reconciliations.
• Support management with operational accounting tasks and spearhead special projects.
• Assist with external audit requests and maintain positive owner relations.

You're a Perfect Fit If You Have:
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Experience with major ERP systems (SAP a plus).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to juggle multiple complex projects with a smile.
• A self-directed, results-oriented approach with a strong work ethic.
