Job Description

Join our work to support our communities to thrive

We are looking for a proactive and values‑driven Projects and Operations Coordinator to play a key role in supporting project delivery, systems, and day‑to‑day operations across the Trust. Working closely with Senior Leaders and colleagues across the organisation, you will help coordinate projects from start to finish, support fundraising activity, and strengthen the systems and processes that keep our services running smoothly. You will be highly organised, collaborative, and have strong attention to detail. You will be confident working with data and digital systems, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, people‑focused environment.

About you

You are very tech‑savvy, quick to learn new systems, and confident in producing clear, engaging documents and reports.
You are highly numerate, confident in using spreadsheets and manipulating data.
You are a rigorous starter and finisher of projects, keen to develop and put in place new systems, and support colleagues to complete projects and tasks to schedule.
You are looking to develop your career in the voluntary and community sector.
You thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused environment, and are a confident and empathetic communicator, and excellent at taking your own initiative.
You care deeply about tackling inequality and discrimination, and about community-based responses to the social challenges facing communities in 2026 and beyond.
You will have some experience of volunteering or working in the voluntary or community sector.
You are ambitious and creative, spotting new opportunities and turning ideas into action.
You are collaborative, flexible, and great at building relationships across teams and partnerships.
You embody our values of: Welcoming – Collaborative – Resourceful
About us

We are Bristol-based charity made up of staff, volunteers, and residents working together to keep power in our community. We work alongside local people and partners to improve health, wellbeing, employment, and local pride – while tackling social isolation and bringing investment into the area.

Guided by residents, our vision is a thriving and healthy community. We provide the support, spaces, and services our community needs through our two well-loved sites, Greenway Centre and The Ranch Adventure Playground and Youth Space. These venues host a wide range of activities, including wellbeing services, youth and play sessions, fitness classes, community groups, and local celebrations.

We are proud to be a Disability Confident employer and welcome applications from everyone. We are committed to building a team that reflects the diversity of our community. If you need any adjustments during the recruitment process or in the workplace, just let us know – we will do our best to support you.

About the Role

This is a varied and developmental role supporting fundraising, project delivery, systems, and central operations across the Trust. You will work closely with Senior Leaders, gaining a broad understanding of how a complex community organisation operates, funds its work, and delivers impact.
