The Role

General Operatives play a vital role, reporting directly to both the Production Manager and Production Supervisor. Their mission is to ensure the safe, efficient, and top-quality production of our products for our customers.

Pay: £11.55

Key Accountabilities
• To handle raw sliced bacon and be able to identify different cuts of bacon, ie prime or neck end.
• To load raw bacon into a Multivac at speed and with accuracy.
• To pack finished product neatly and tidily into cartons, boxes or baskets in accordance with the customer’s specification.
• To check finished product for rejects, ie faulty labels, label positioning, grease in seals, damaged packaging and blown packs.
• To take ownership of housekeeping under the clean as you go policy for your own area specifically and across all areas generally.
• Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with all key colleagues.

Skills And Experience Required
• Understanding of retailer products and quality standards preferable.
