What you'll do

As a Production Management Specialist, you’ll be providing technical expertise to support IT systems, while acting as a recognised subject matter expert in one or more technology platforms.

You’ll be collaborating with and influencing colleagues and stakeholders across the bank and third-party suppliers in your area of specialist knowledge service, ensuring the timely delivery of solutions which support the business.

You’ll also be:
• Participating in the introduction of operation and hand-over to support new systems and developments
• Undertaking ongoing evaluation and analysis of current capacity to provide the required performance while liaising with other technology representatives
• Contributing to the management of inbound work requests and ensuring the prioritisation and scheduling of work against agreed business schedules
• Helping to make sure that resilient applications, infrastructures and recovery plans meet the business recovery requirements
The skills you'll need

We’re looking for someone with a technical understanding of platform, technology, products and domains. You’ll need advanced knowledge of one or more service management disciplines, such as incident, problem, change IT, continuity or capacity.

As well as this, you'll need an understanding how to use Unix, structured query language, site reliability engineering and IT infrastructure library as application support.

You’ll also demonstrate:
• Knowledge of relevant industry standard tools and processes
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
