Madero has an opening in the Saskatoon manufacturing location for the right individual to join our team.
Join our team as a Production Coordinator where you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our exterior door manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership, direction, guidance, motivation and training of the production team.
- Maintain production procedures to maintain high standard of manufacturing operations, product quality, reliability, and safety.
- Plan, analyze, prioritize, coordinate, and facilitate all lean efforts within Operations
- Monitor and communicate to the Manufacturing Team all department metrics including on-time performance, fulfillment rate, safety, productivity and customer returns.
- Ensuring that the production is cost effective.
- Coordinate, set up and implement standard operating procedure for all production operations.
- Track competencies of subordinates and provide leadership and development as required to achieve the objectives.
- Reviewing the performance of subordinates.
- Ensure implementation and evolution of safety procedures and policies.
- Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed.
- Monitoring and maintaining product standards and quality-control programs.
- Supervising and motivating the manufacturing team.
- Arrange training and development of production personnel.
- Keep shop clean and well organized.
- Become familiar with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain all equipment in shop.
- Perform minor repairs to equipment.
- Keep maintenance records for all equipment in shop.
- Schedule the daily production for the manufacturing team.
- Advise purchasing of inventory requirements.
- Coordinate incoming special order doors and door components with the purchasing department.
- Maintain special order area in an orderly fashion for ease of finding specific special orders.
- Ensures the safe, efficient and effective use of workforce, equipment and materials.
- Operate forklifts to move products throughout the facility.
- Use proper material handling techniques to ensure minimal damage to inventory.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage orders.
- Adherence to Procedures: Follow company policies, procedures, and guidelines for production operations.
- Engage in heavy lifting activities as required.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to achieve daily production targets and ensure efficient operations
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years progressive experience in manufacturing/production.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills, demonstrated through previous experience.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems for inventory control.
- Multi-tasking, organizational skills.
- Able to proficiently operate a forklift.
- Experience in Doors, Hardware and Building supplies.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in executing warehouse tasks.
