Piano Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver one-to-one or small group piano lessons during school hours.
Tailor lessons to suit different learning styles and stages, from beginner to Grade 1 level.
Use the John Thompson method books as the foundation for teaching.
Monitor student progress and prepare reports or feedback when required.
Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and communication with school staff.
Support the safeguarding and wellbeing of all pupils.
Essential Requirements:

Minimum ABRSM Grade 5 in Piano (or equivalent qualification).
Previous experience teaching piano to children, ideally in school environments.
Confident in working independently across multiple locations.
Strong organisational skills and time management.
Ability to create a positive, encouraging learning atmosphere.
Current enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
