Key Responsibilities
Academic Instruction
• Teach English Language and Literature to Classes XI and XII as per the CBSE/ICSE/State board curriculum.
• Cover all prescribed areas of English including:
• Reading comprehension and unseen passages
• Poetry, prose, and drama from the textbook
• Advanced grammar and vocabulary
• Writing skills – essays, reports, speeches, notices, letters, articles, etc.
• Promote interactive learning through debates, discussions, dramatics, and creative writing activities.
Curriculum & Lesson Planning
• Prepare detailed lesson plans aligned with learning outcomes.
• Develop assignments, worksheets, question papers, and project ideas.
• Incorporate audio-visual aids, digital tools, and differentiated learning strategies in teaching.
• Organize enrichment programs like literature fests, book reviews, and author discussions.
Assessment & Evaluation
• Design and administer assessments such as periodic tests, term exams, oral presentations, and projects.
• Evaluate student performance with fairness and provide constructive feedback.
• Prepare students for CBSE board exams with targeted revision plans and mock tests.
Student Mentoring & Development
• Encourage creative expression, critical thinking, and a deeper appreciation of language and literature.
• Identify and support students needing academic support or language improvement.
• Guide students in preparing for English Olympiads, elocution competitions, and competitive exams (CUET, SAT, etc.).
Institutional Responsibilities
• Maintain records of student attendance, progress, and academic performance.
• Participate in faculty meetings, school events, and parent-teacher conferences.
• Attend professional development workshops and training sessions.
• Uphold school values, discipline policies, and academic integrity at all times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
